Subject: Netarhat Golden Jubilee - Update (Date: 24.12.2003 )

1. We are mobilising our efforts to arrange fund to run Golden Jubilee Secretariat as well as regular publication of Netarhat Times-2004. Please find attached detail of said request related to Netarhat Times-2004.
2. We had replied earlier and once again we confirm that one can just pay registration package fee and can opt to own arrangements (travel, stay etc.).  NOBA, Ranchi would facilitate such arrangements on their behalf.
3. Registration forms and Bio-data are being received.  We had mailed 900 invitations till date. An early submission of registration form would be welcomed.
4. Utilities like power & water are available.  As per latest report power is therefore more than 20 to 22 hrs. now a days.
5.  Sri Binod Karn, Principal is out of Netarhat.  His mother died on 12/17 and he would be returning only after 15 days or so. The Principal has submitted necessary request for early execution of planned civil work. Mr. J. B. Tubid is following up said proposal with the Govt.  The construction work of road from Ghaghara to Netarhat is to commence shortly.  As per PWD, Road Division, the contractor M/s Patil Construction, Mumbai is arranging machinery to be shifted to site. The school's Generator is being repaired.  The school is awaiting sanction of fund (Rs. 4.50 lacs approx.) from the Govt.
6. To the best of my knowledge, autonomous cum society proposal is extra ordinarily delayed.  We all are of the opinion that formation of society should be ether done within 15-20 days or it should be shelved in the larger interest of the school. The Acting/Principal should be made permanent Principal till society is registered or Principal is appointed through JPSC.
7. The students are acclametising themselves as per standard routine.
