A brief report of Netarhat Golden Jubilee Festival (NGJF) - Delhi

Venue - Little Theatre Group, Copernicus Marg, New Delhi
Date & Time - October 17th 2004, 2:00 PM onwards

We are pleased to inform you all that NGJF - Delhi was held to celebrate the 50 years of our alma mater, Netarhat Vidyalaya. The occasion was graced by our revered Shrimanjis' & Matajis' Saxenaji, B K Sinhaji, Shyam Jaiswalji and Vasudevanji. Over 200 NOBA members participated along with their family. Dr. Suraj Prakash, Principal CRPF School and an associate of Pradhanji, Vishwakant Pandey Director Manav Bharti India International School and & Smt. Bharti Pandey associates of Saxenaji, were the dignitaries present during the festival. Shree Ramesh Chandra Mishra, Secretary Vidya Vihar, Dr. N. N. Pandey from Patna and Shree
Vaidyanath Labh from Jammu were also participated in the festival.

The festival began with registration & get-together started at 2:00 p.m. All NOBA members were presented with Golden Jubilee Memento & Souvenir. The members also submitted the particulars of their spouse and children duly filled in the Human Resource (HR) Pool Forms, which would help NOBA Delhi to compile the HR Database.

The Childrens' Afternoon started at 3:30 PM with Deep Prajwalan by Shrimanji B K Sinhaji & Vasudevanji along with other dignitaries. Students from CRPF School, Delhi, Apollo International Scool, Sonepat and Manav Bharti School, Delhi presented cultural programs. However, the highlight of the afternoon was the programs presented by Vidya Vihar, Purnea and Netarhat School students who travelled all the way from Bihar & Jharkhand to grace the occasion. "Ragini Hoon Main Tumhare Kanth Ki" & "Adivasi Folk Dance" presented by Netarhat students brought back the memories of golden Netarhat Days for all members present. The thunderous ovation and clapping on the dance tune that reverberated the LTG auditorium would always be remembered by Nobaites for ever. The skit "Panchlight" presented by Vidya Vihar students showed glimpses of another Netarhat and was loved by one and all.

There was a break for half an hour and the function started again with honoring of our Shrimanji B. K. Sinhaji by NOBA Delhi. "Layam", a professional orchestra group presented colorful cultural evening. The Chief Guest, Vasudevanji addressed the gathering and his words gave us all lot of encouragement for the efforts made by all of us in making Netarhat proud. The august house assured him that this tradition would continue further.

Bajrangji requested all members present to assemble at Netarhat on 15th November to celebrate the Neytarhat Golden Jubilee Celebrations. It was also announced that NOBA - Delhi would provide Rs. 1.25 Lakhs to Netarhat School for setting up VSAT connectivity at Netarhat. Future perspective for holding NOBA GLOBAL CONVENTION was proposed consequent
upon the Golden Jubilee Celebrations at our school.   The NGJF was closed with Vote of Thanks from Secretary, NOBA - Delhi followed by Dinner.
